So im in college now...
I decided to tap that sweet, sweet GI Bill and go to college. I'm currently at North Seattle Community because I'm lazy and at this point would rater be in 13 grade than have actual academic challenges to overcome. Add the fact that I don't particularly know what I want to get into(English? Robotics? Ray guns?) later in live and we have a winner. I have been having a good time however, especially in my English classes. I thought that it may be interesting(at least for future me) to post up some of
the poetry that I've been made to write. So here goes a number one. This one is free form and just done off of the top of my head:
The moment I was shot
Hot lead slam down, come down hum down ,
Light bright with foresight,
lava thread flow though, mind matter and the above below, numb for you, flash pop and streak lightning tasting blue wonder,
Sniff of death doom.
Atropos cuts snips snaps thread free, free at last to wander slow fast beyond, tunnel though the mind stew.
Meat potatoes carrots leaks, hot and cold and alone prone.
Velvet drapes, swirly snakes, lost adventure time to you.
Dreams anew, captured, lost and who who who….
Fast times creeping vines, life lived wild mild, forgive forget,
Angels form devils lament, cat’s dog’s forever fog, slipping sliding lost and hiding.
Shock awe, firefly meet seesaw,
Steers queers and automobiles.
Layer confection life lied lived lost
Smitten bitten frozen soul, kiss of life faded stole
Two coins for the boatman,
Endless dropping spinning sweetly
Forever tunnel light bright streetlight
One last taste to last

More to come.
P.S. The photo is a threadless tee submition.

Pretty solid poem. What kind of stuff do all the other NSCC people put out? I guess a lot of them have seen the suffering, which makes for good fodder.
